Jon- 0 points for the second round in a row. Brian Murray is flat out jealous.

I guess I'll take the Pens in 6. I changed that back and forth a few times. It's a toss-up for me.
...maybe I should just go with whatever Chris picks to be safe. ;-)

ReplyDeletehonestly though, I think Sid is the single driving force here..kid will not lose...and his game responds fiercely to competition (be it against fans, critics, his match-up or goalies). I don't think there is a rival to that intensity in Detroit. Ah, I sound like such a woman...aside from gushing about Sidney, I could talk about the Pens all day. The coaching staff is air-tight, Shero is on, Maffy is solid, Conks won them like, 30 games, solid d, two franchise players and Sidney's never-say-die attitude...the team dynamic is absolutely perfect on paper.
Not to take anything away from Detroit...they're solid as well...but I just don't know. I don't think its their year.
...plus my roommate is a Detroit fan, and she was nervous over Nashville...
anyway, I'm looking forward to a good, competitive series...if nothing else, Sidney and the kids are good for ratings...and we need that.
Horrible misrepresentation of my picks there. I clearly stated they were strategy picks to try and gain on people. Psch. Whatever, Ryan.

I might be higher up if I had played more than one round...not that I would've done well in the first one anyway, as I proved in a different pool. The 2nd round I picked better, just not here.
